Heads up, teens in Rockland County who are looking for summer leadership opportunities!
The Rockland County Youth Bureau is seeking teen members to join its Youth Advisory Board in order to help address the ongoing needs of Rockland County's youth. The board—which serves in an advisory capacity and whose members are under age 21—meets bimonthly to discuss youth program ideas, review funding requests, monitor funded programs, and helps the Youth Bureau to promote positive youth development resources, opportunities, and services.
This is the perfect opportunity for Rockland County teens to build up leadership skills and experience. You'll also make an impact in your community and develop the programs that affect your peers. (Plus, it looks great on a resume, and you can transform it into an internship!)
