Planning for the City of New Rochelle's Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) is well underway, and now you can have a hand in the design of one of its most anticipated features: the LINC!
The LINC is the future park that will be planned along Memorial Highway in the Lincoln Avenue neighborhood of New Rochelle. Whether you live in the neighborhood or on the other side of town, it's important to have your input.
Want a lot of green space for a future community garden? Looking for a skate or dog park? Or how about a playground or fountain where you can stay cool in the summer? Your ideas could shape the way the future park is used—as well as give you and your friends a fun place to hang out.
Kids and teens from 11 to 19 are invited to join the open house event on Friday, July 23 at City Hall's Rotunda. Refreshments will be provided. Bring your friends and best ideas!
