Family to Family

Family-to-Family, a national grassroots hunger relief organization, links American families with "more" to impoverished rural American families with "profoundly less" across the U.S. Once every month each sponsoring family either shops for 7 dinner-type meals (nonperishable foods only) for "their" family...packs them in a sturdy box, and then delivers their box to a local chapter chairperson, ( 5-10 families in a chapter with a chapter host in charge) who ships the chapter's boxes to the receiving community. A new option, instead of shopping and shipping a box or joining a chapter, an individual donor or family can cyber sponsor a family in need and provide monthly funds for F-to-F to purchase food locally for their recipient family. Receiving families pick up their monthly food box from a local F-to-F community outreach partner.
