Did you know that every vote matters? Or that you can pre-register to vote as young as age 16? Voting is an important way we show up in the community—and one way we engage in the political process—yet sometimes it feels confusing or useless. But it's quite easy!
Join Volunteer New York! in this short virtual opportunity as we learn about the voter registration process and answer any questions you may have. Participants who are 16 or 17 can even get pre-registered to vote so you are automatically registered as soon as you turn 18. All participants receive community service credit, and teens can stay as long as they'd like.
