Sock Drive for Kids

Organization Served: The Sharing Shelf
Ages: 13+, 12+ with an adult
When: Until December 31
Location: Remote; drop off in Port Chester

Help keep  someone's toes toasty this winter by donating an unopened package of colorful athletic-style socks in any size—from toddlers to teens. 


 



Grand Holiday Illumination

Organization Served: Untermyer Gardens Conservancy
Ages: 18+, 12+ with an adult
When: Saturday, December 24 to Monday, January 1; multiple opportunities
Location: Yonkers

Space is filling up fast for this festive project! Volunteers are needed to greet guests as they enter the garden, share informational materials, and give guests free hot chocolate. This activity takes place outdoors, so be sure to bundle up!


 



Create Cards and Gifts for Hospital Patients and Staff

Organization Served: Burke Rehabilitation Hospital
Ages: 13+, 5+ with an adult
When: Ongoing
Location: Remote; drop off in White Plains

Do you consider yourself crafty? Want to make folks feel better when they're sick, or bring a smile to the faces of hard-working doctors and nurses? Use your artistic skills to create cards and small gifts that can be given to hospital staff and patients.
